Calendar of Cultural Events\| Facebook Page \| Bylaws \| Contacts Calendar Tips When making your organization's calendar, here are some things to remember. First, get a gmail address. It's free from http://www.gmail.com Log into your gmail account. Click on Calendar to make a calendar. Name your calendar with your organization's short name, like Art Guild instead of Johnson County Art Guild. Crucial: Under Calendar Settings / Sharing - Mark the calendar as Public. Put in at least one event and send your gmail address to cleburnefca@gmail.com with the word Calendar in the subject. After we incorporate your calendar, our main calendar will be updated each time you update yours. How to Update Your Calendar After You Have Made It: Log into your gmail account. Look at the top and click on Calendar. Add events, edit, delete as you like. Make sure each event is marked Public. Save each event. In making events, in the Month view, only the first two words of the event are visible, so make them count. The words "Johnson County" are not descriptive. Instead put something like "Plant Sale" or "Concert". In the Location, put in something that Google map will find correctly. When your event is published, the user has the option to click on "map" to see a Google map. This is especially important to out-of-town visitors. From experience, here's what works. Note: You do not have to enter what is in parenthesis. Since we looked up the addresses, we thought you may as well have them all in one place: Cleburne Conference Center (1501 W. The address for the Senior Center is 1212 Glenwood Drive, Cleburne, but Google does not take you to the right place, so don't use it.) Cleburne Public Library (302 W.
