Pat Chapman and Micki Nellis presented ideas for the Herbal Dessert Cookbook to be sold at the October symposium. There will be a series of small cookbooks, each with different color covers. Each recipe will have a parody of a 50s or Country and Western Song, such as "Help me bake it through the night" for a bread recipe. The club can sell 3 ring binders with a cover and spine insert, and wooden cookbook hangers. The name of the series is proposed to be "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme Herbal Cookbook Collection" published by the Johnson County Herb Society, Cleburne, Texas.

Full details of the cookbook plans are attached at the end of this report. Each member should contribute 3 to 4 taste-tested herbal dessert recipes before August.

Members made sachet bags from the Make and Take items left over from the lawn and garden show booth.

Nancy Hagwood brought Echinacea and Cypress Vines to Share. Micki Nellis brought Spicy Globe Basil.

Next meeting will be at Sandra Buerger's house, 1622 Ivy Court, Cleburne at 10 a.m. July 15. Bring a sack lunch and a herbal dessert plus recipe for the upcoming Herbal Dessert Cookbook.

Meeting was adjourned and members shared potluck food.
