Minutes of the Johnson County Herb Society Meeting September 16, 2006

The Johnson County Herb Society met at the Cleburne Library at 10 a.m. September 16, 2006.

The meeting was called to order by president Esther Chambliss. Eight members were in attendance.

A Get Well Card for Pat Chapman was passed around to speed her recovery from surgery.

Sally Porter reported on food for the vendors hospitality booth and asked members to sign up to bring dishes.

Esther reported on speakers and vendors for the upcoming Herb Show October 28. Patty Lockwood, herbalist in Keene, will help advertise the show on her blog. Micki will post postcards and other publicity materials at http://www.cleburnearea.info/herbies/ so members can download and distribute as they like.

Members watched a film "Rosemary and Thyme: The Language of Flowers."

Sue Morgan and Esther distributed show flyers and complimentary tickets.

Esther asked everyone to write down what type of programs they would like to have next year and bring to the October 21 meeting.

The November program will be Craft Day.
