Johnson County Herb Society Meeting October 20, 2007

The October meeting was held at the Cleburne Library at 10:00 am. Eleven members and one guest were present. Our president set the theme for the day in costume, Cruella.

We had a treasures report of $709.09 in the checking account and 1096.10 in savings. Minutes available on the web.

A previous speaker, Marrisa O. gave our honorarium to BRIT and they in tern sent us a nice thank you and a membership card to BRIT.

Ester will attend the District II State Garden Club this month.

Sue has our library of herb books installed with check out cards and pockets making it easier to keep track of the books. Please plan to return your check outs the month after you take them.

There are note cards and calendars for sale.

Carl Cathy will be our speaker for November.

Pat Kriener gave a fun but interesting talk on herbal remedies from your kitchen and how to plant a living wreath. All done as a very stylish "wicked witch".
