
Johnson County Herb Society Minutes, November 17, 2007 President Debra Moore called the meeting to order at 10:20 a.m. at the Cleburne Public Library. Six members were present. (Esther Chambliss, Debra Moore, Sally Porter, Nancy Hagwood, Micki Nellis and Ethel Henry.) Esther Chambliss motioned that the club buy diapers from the treasury and donate to the Cleburne Pregnancy Center. Sally Porter seconded. The vote was unanimous in favor. Nancy Hagwood motioned that the Christmas luncheon be December 15 at the Lemon Sisters Café and Bakery. Sally Porter seconded. The vote was unanimous in favor. Members will pay for their own lunch. Cookbook recipes need to be turned in. The Desserts recipe book will be for sale at the March 8 Master Gardeners Show. Esther Chambliss and assistants will give a presentation on “Fun with Herbs” at the Master Gardeners Show. The Herb Society will have two booths.
