Little Boy Can Smile Again

Cleburne's youngest evacuee can smile again. He is safe, has a full tummy and toys to play with.

This little boy was trapped in the Superdome for four days, spent two days on the bus getting to Cleburne, being turned down by three other evacuation centers, and got separated from his parents. His older sister and brother were with him. Yet he can still smile.

One man gave him a toy, and soon he had lots of toys.

Man Never Wants to Eat Another MRE

Charles Celestine of New Orleans said MREs kept him alive, but he never wants to eat another one. "Home Cooking is better," he said, after the church ladies were unleashed and started bringing pot luck dinners.

Charles said he's going to put this MRE in a glass case somewhere to remind him how lucky he is.
